Randomized-controlled study of treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder of preschool children with combined electro-acupuncture and behavior therapy

A randomized-controlled study on 180 preschool children diagnosed with ADHD according to DSM-IV, divided into treatment group (electro-acupuncture + behavior therapy) and control group (sham electro-acupuncture + behavior therapy), showing that combining behavior therapy with electro-acupuncture for ADHD treatment increases effectiveness and reduces recurrence rate after 12 weeks.
